Matt and his team at IME represent creative, financial, and technology clients who are boldly reshaping the traditional, interactive, and immersive media and entertainment industries.

In the past three years, Matt has served as financier counsel for films with budgets totaling more than $400 million. Recently, Matt worked with CAA to package - and served as lead production counsel for - "Mother's Day," directed by Garry Marshall.

In the interactive media space, Matt represents some of the most prolific video game developers in the industry, whose games have set 8 Guinness World Records for sales, and grossed more than $16 billion worldwide. Matt is known for brokering and negotiating the first YouTube to SVOD deal in history, and represents multiple top YouTube and social media influencers and talent.

Beyond traditional and interactive entertainment, Matt represents clients in the immersive media space, including one of the few VR-designated, US-based venture capital funds, as well as internationally-recognized and critically-acclaimed VR filmmakers, content creators, software developers, producers and directors. Matt has represented these clients in their negotiations with Oculus, HTC, Samsung, Microsoft, Hulu, Within, and others.

Matt has spoken extensively on the subject of VR IP protection, distribution, and monetization at festivals and conferences in the U.S. and abroad, including most recently, the Sundance Film Festival, VRLA, VR Show-London, VR on the Lot, and at PGA member events.

Matt and his team at IME are committed to leveraging their deep experience in film, television, SVOD, AVOD, and the console and mobile game industries to develop hybrid monetization models for VR that benefit content creators and developers.
